Meet Kim Hyde

Kim Hyde is our Senior Physiotherapist at Beausejour Rehabilitation. She has been practicing Physiotherapy for over 12 years in the North Eastern Region of Manitoba, all of which has been in the town of Beausejour.

Her extensive dedication to continuing her education has allowed her to service her community and region more effectively. Kim has achieved her certification in Acupuncture, Pelvic floor Physiotherapy, concussion and vertigo management, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and completed her level 2 diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. She has also completed dozens of continuing education courses on topics such as the hand and wrist, pelvis, hip, foot and custom orthotics, cervical spine, headaches, lumbar spine and Functional reconditioning.

Kim and her husband are raising two children in Beausejour. If you haven’t seen her in the clinic, you have likely seen her coaching or helping out with her children’s many sports teams and activities. She also practices what she preaches, and when not in the clinic she is participating in the many recreation sports teams in town or just exploring some trails. Because of her commitment to providing opportunities for her community, she is also a Board member on the Brokenhead River Recreation Commission and the BBDC. As well as volunteering in her community, she also volunteers for her professional body, sitting on two different Committees, the rural and remote practicing committee and the professional development committee.

Kim absolutely understands that a comprehensive assessment, recognizing that movement throughout the body is connected, is the key to any effective treatment plan. Kim is an advocate for helping her clients take ownership of their health. She takes time to educate her clients about their injury and treatment plan in order to help them move towards their goals.
